Drawing on unique know-how and almost 30 years of experience in designing laboratory launchers, THIOT INGENIERIE experts have developed a new testing solution: the acceleration generator. This equipment accelerates projectiles weighing anywhere from a few grams to several kilograms, to over 25,000 Gs. Aside from the effect of the acceleration itself, there is no damage to the item being tested, which is placed inside a container.

Designed to equip military research centers, the acceleration generator is the suitable facility for testing the behaviour of embedded equipment subjected to extreme accelerations, such as warheads on missiles.

Our solution

The THIOT INGENIERIE acceleration generator was designed as a simple means of setting up test configurations and subjecting your test samples to accelerations of over 25,000 Gs. Its built-in sensors allow the change in acceleration to be tracked at all times. And because the container is recovered intact after the test, post-mortem analysis can be conducted on the test sample inside.
