Eurosatory 2018 was this year’s unmissable international event in the Defense sector. The 2018 edition of the Eurosatory trade fair was held between June 11 and 15 at the Paris Exhibition Center, and Thiot Ingenierie was present with its own exhibition stand. This trade fair offered a unique opportunity to discuss some of the issues currently affecting the Defense sector and strengthen ties with other stakeholders. Our company had the chance to show off its expertise in the field of shock physics and present the many services we offer in the defense and security sector:
- Design of customized detonation chambers for a range of applications
- CHRONOS, our new test equipment: an acceleration generator capable of subjecting onboard systems to accelerations of up to 100,000 G
- Our expertise in the field of dynamic behavior of materials, continuously combining tests conducted in our own laboratory and digital simulation for reliable results
- Design of autofrettage machines, to improve guns in terms of service life, performance and safety
